Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Lisenser service, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions described in this agreement (the "Terms of Service" or "ToS"). If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions of this ToS, do not use the Lisenser service.
Definitions
- "Lisenser" or "Service" refers to the online platform and services provided by Lisenser.
- "Software" refers to any software application or product that is licensed through the Lisenser service.
- "Developer" refers to the individual or entity that creates and sells Software through the Lisenser service.
- "Customer" refers to the individual or entity that purchases a license for Software from a Developer through the Lisenser service.
- "License" refers to the right granted to a Customer to use a specific version of a Software under the terms and conditions defined by the Developer.
Use of the Service
- By using the Lisenser service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
- You may not use the Lisenser service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
Licenses and Sales
- Developers may use the Lisenser service to sell licenses for their Software to Customers.
- Developers are responsible for setting the terms and conditions of their licenses, including the price, duration, and any restrictions on use.
- Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with the terms and conditions of the licenses they purchase.
- Lisenser is not responsible for any disputes that may arise between Developers and Customers regarding the terms of a license.
- All sales through the Lisenser service are final. Refunds will be at the discretion of the Developer.
Payments
- Developers are required to pay a flat annual fee of $50 per Product to use the Lisenser service. This fee allows Developers to generate an unlimited number of licenses for their Product.
- Developers may choose to use Lisenser's integration with PayPal to sell licenses for their Software to Customers. Developers are responsible for setting up and maintaining their PayPal account and for complying with PayPal's terms of service.
- Lisenser is not responsible for any disputes or issues that may arise between Developers and PayPal regarding payment processing.
API and Client Libraries
- Lisenser provides an API and client libraries for Developers to integrate the Lisenser service into their Software and systems.
- Developers are responsible for understanding and complying with the terms of use for the Lisenser API and client libraries.
- Lisenser reserves the right to update or change the API and client libraries at any time without notice.
Privacy Policy
Please review our privacy policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use the "Lisenser".
Modifications to the Service
- Lisenser reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Lisenser shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
Termination
- You agree that Lisenser may, under certain circumstances and without prior notice, immediately terminate your Lisenser account and access to the Service. Causes for termination may include, but are not limited to, breach of the ToS, requests by law enforcement or other government agencies, or unexpected technical issues or problems.
- You agree that all terminations for cause shall be made in Lisenser's sole discretion and that Lisenser shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your account or access to the Service.
Warranty Disclaimer
- The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Lisenser makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Service.
- To the full extent permissible by applicable law, Lisenser disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- Lisenser will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Service, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
Governing Law
These ToS and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Entire Agreement
The ToS constitutes the entire agreement between you and Lisenser and governs your use of the Service, superceding any prior agreements between you and Lisenser (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the ToS).
Changes to the ToS
Lisenser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace the ToS at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the ToS, Lisenser will notify you by posting an announcement on the Lisenser website. What constitutes a "material change" will be determined at Lisenser's sole discretion. You shall be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such modifications. Use of the Service by you following such modification constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the ToS as modified.
